The Los Gatos dining chair was inspired by a favorite client who didn't want his dining set to block too much of his gorgeous view. Taking cues from mid-century masters like Jean Prouve, we designed a chair with a minimum of structure: two steel legs attached to a hardwood seat, and a third, intersecting rear leg that extends to a minimal back. While the back looks diminutive, its generous curve provides ample and very comfortable support. The sculpted seat looks spare, but the carved recess will capture a guest and offer a relaxing sitting surface for the duration of even the longest of dinner parties.
